our Team

Totally Plastered Nelson is a family owned business that is dedicated to offering our clients the very best service and highest quality craftsmanship on every job we are involved in.

At the heart of that vision is our team of skilled, experienced and professional plasterers. We are proud to have such a great bunch of individuals to work with each day.

Grant Waters

Grant grew up in Picton/Blenheim and forged a career as a chef, cooking in various restaurants in Picton and Portage back in the day. As the hours weren’t the best Grant decided to try his hand in the building industry where he diverted into the field of plastering. Starting his plastering business in Christchurch he was also travelling to Nelson to plaster. Over time he was spending more time in Nelson than Christchurch so the decision was made to move to Nelson to establish here. Grant is a qualified BCITO plasterer and a perfectionist, there is no `she’ll be right’ attitude when he is around.

In his spare time Grant has become an addicted golfer, (always aiming to improve his game) and enjoys spending quality time with Nicola and their two teenage children.

Nicola Waters

Nicola runs the Totally Plastered office and is also responsible for getting the morning coffees to the guys when required, with a bit of quality control thrown in.

John Warner

John is like family and has been on and off with Totally Plastered for over 15 years, having gone to do his own thing in between. John is a BCITO qualified plaster and takes great pride in his work. When not working he enjoys time with his family in Nelson

Shane Grieve

Shane is our main poly fixer before the plastering takes place and an avid rugby player who is forever retiring from the game.

Dan Robins

Dan has been with TPNL for three years learning everything there is to know about the trade and gaining knowledge of exterior plastering. He has recently been thrown in the deep end but has stepped up and lead his crew with enthusiasm and a high level of professionalism..

When not at work Dan loves to tinker on never ending projects and spending time with his partner and three girls.
